This experiments in space-making began with the urge to create a structure that brings together a feeling of intimacy while also being immense. In the forest walking through the trees, sometimes there is a clearing in the woods where the sky is suddenly visible, and framed by the green leaves and branches of the nearby plants you suddenly become intensely aware of the expanse of the space above you; of the sky and all that lies beyond it. This structure was inspired by those experiences while walking through the forest.
