A Place Out of Time, 2014

Digital Photograph

dimensions variable

These photographs speak of time that gently flows, and of spaces that are silent. Ideas of scale and time are blurred; soft flowing forms inspired by the body coalesce, forming landscapes- moving from the intimate to the immense.

A Place Out of Time emerges from a meandering series of questions and observations, evolving into studies of the body.

Simple in form, yet retaining a mystery and roughness that is gentle, these photographs are a search for a primal existence, from where all space begins, and for me that is my body.
